2012 HIGHLIGHTS

First year, First attempt, praised by local authorities….

”What an Outstanding Job” says the Mayor of Pompano Beach Mr. Lamar Fisher. The first Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach brought more than 6,000 people between the hours of 2pm and 10pm to its Community Park. More than 20 Tons of Audio, Visual and Cameras lighted up the City with the Beat and Rhythm of Brazil, and the warmth of one of the Fastest growing economies in the planet. The charisma of all local brazilian Small Entrepreneurs, and Exhibitors frantically absorbed the public with the City’s traditional Warmest Welcome. Brazil’s Art, Culture, and Cuisine were Vivid in more than 60 Canopies made up by Brazilian Exhibitors.

At the same time, the impeccable organization of the Festival was adamant thanks to a Dream Staff formed by a team of outstanding professionals from the City of Pompano Beach Parks and Recreation and Multicultural Arts Department, by the Broward County Sheriff’s Department, and by the Pompano Beach Fire Department.
